Hi, I’m Tara! I’ve been offering permanent makeup services for four years now, and in that time, I’ve been on a mission to learn everything I possibly can about this amazing industry. I’ve taken advanced masterclasses with some of the most experienced artists in the country because I’m passionate about understanding permanent makeup inside and out. This has included shaded eyeliners, hairstroke realism techniques and advanced lip blushing.

This isn’t just a side hustle for me—it’s the forefront of everything I do. I’ve poured countless hours into perfecting my skills to offer services you can truly trust and feel confident investing in. And as the industry evolves, I’m committed to growing with it, so I’ll always be learning and improving to give my clients the best possible results.

I’m quite the perfectionist about the tools and products I use, so I’ve done extensive research into products, tools and equipment and have selected the best in the market to make sure I’m delivering stable, high-quality results that will still look beautiful in years to come. On top of that, I’ve got a solid foundation in anatomy, infection control, and all the safety protocols, so you can relax knowing you’re in safe hands.

Oh, and here’s a fun fact – I’ve got a degree in non-medical aesthetic practices and I’m also qualified in beauty therapy! This means I can offer treatments like microneedling, facials, and other beauty services alongside permanent makeup. I love being able to mix and match treatments that complement each other, like brow maintenance with ombre or hairstroke brows, or lash lifts to make permanent eyeliner really pop.

I’ve always been a bit of a makeup fanatic, when I was younger, I used to draw faces and colour ‘makeup’ onto them, spend all my free time watching YouTube tutorials, practicing makeup on myself, sketching eyebrows on paper and became totally obsessed with not only the art of makeup, but the transformation in confidence it can achieve.

This evolved through my teen years, progressing into makeup artistry, beauty therapy and aesthetic courses. I eventually landed in the permanent makeup industry after years of deliberating on and now, I can bring to you a perfect little package of all the services I love!

I first started with training in permanent makeup with an academy in 2021, but I felt like I had only scratched the surface, so I opted for a private apprenticeship to work hands on and further my skills in the industry by completely immersing myself in it. I delved straight into perfecting the art of permanent eyeliner before going into brows and further advancements through private masterclasses and educational platforms to refine my technique, knowledge and skill. The dedication and hard work I’ve put into my craft is what has ultimately given me the confidence to develop my own style and specialities, shaping my personal brand and what I can now bring to you today at Tara Permanent Makeup.

I uphold values of honesty, expertise, quality and trust through my brand, customer experience and everything I do. This means that I am continuously striving to grow and will never become complacent.
